A Stage 1 remap is a type of engine tuning that is designed for a standard and unmodified vehicle with no hardware upgrades. It involves reprogramming the vehicle’s Engine Control Unit (ECU) with slightly different software. This adjusts the settings, including the ignition timing, fuel injection, and boost control, with engine-optimized parameters.
The goal of a Stage 1 remap is to increase power and torque while also improving fuel efficiency. It removes flat spots and gives a more responsive drive without compromising reliability. It’s possible to run a Stage 1 ECU software with some additional hardware, such as a cat-back exhaust, upgraded air filter, or upgraded engine mount.
While it’s important to give a power increase from your remap, it’s also possible to find some fuel economy when returning to a natural driving pattern. As part of a Stage 1 remap, all the standard catalytic converter calibrations are usually left in place and if done on diesel engines the DPF regen is also usually left in standard place.
A Stage 2 remap is a more complex form of engine tuning that requires hardware upgrades in addition to software tweaks. It builds upon the base of a Stage 1 remap by taking into consideration supporting modifications such as an upgraded intercooler, exhaust, or air intake.
The tuning company will add unique tuning software to your car’s ECU in order to maximize performance. This usually involves increasing the turbo boost pressure, fuel injection timing and duration, and air-to-fuel ratio.
Stage 2 remaps are more effective at improving performance than stage 1 remaps, thanks to their use of hardware – as well as software – improvements. However, efficiency will still improve but not as dramatically as a Stage 1 Tune.
An Eco Power Remap is a type of engine tuning that focuses on improving the power, performance, and fuel economy of a vehicle. This is achieved by reprogramming the vehicle’s Engine Control Unit (ECU) using advanced engine tuning equipment and dyno developed & tested remap files.
The goal of an Eco Power Remap is to provide a smoother, more responsive engine, with up to a 40% performance increase (for turbo diesels), and up to 15% better fuel economy. This makes it a cost-effective way to get the ultimate performance and fuel efficiency from your vehicle’s engine.
Effective for all round drive-ability and fuel economy improving outright performance.
Designed to increase M.P.G. by up to 10-15% resulting in subtle increases in power and noted improved economy.

How Hydrogen Carbon Cleaning works
The Hydrogen Carbon Cleaning technology works by converting a 99% based purified water solution into Hydrogen and Oxygen gases known as HHO or Brown gas. This gas is then administered to a running engine via the air intake. As these gases run through the engine they interact with the carbon deposits burning and breaking them down into tiny particles that will then safely exit through the exhaust.
The process is technically known as pyrolysis – Hydrogen, along with increased oxygen levels, raises the combustion temperature within the engine making it possible for a chemical reaction that burns off and disintegrates the carbon deposits. Now what’s left of the carbon is in a gas form and airborne it exits safely through the exhaust as generally a clear non-pollutant smoke.
Once the restrictive carbon is removed the engine will be able to operate efficiently again.
